New relaxing puzzle game Kubikon 3D invites you to enter the colorful world of cubes.
Today sees the release of Kubikon 3D, a new puzzle game from the one-man indie studio KUBI Games. After the success of his previous game, the medieval adventure game 1428: Shadows over Silesia, the author decided to create a smaller side project that takes players into the colorful world of cubes.
The game presents a simple concept – in each level your task is to move differently placed cubes onto platforms of the same color. It seems simple enough, but there’s a little catch. Once a cube has moved, it can only be stopped by an obstacle. While this is a puzzle game, the levels don’t aim to mess with your brain too much. The game is suitable for all generations and relies heavily on minimalist visuals and simple design to give you a break from your daily worries. You can see what it all looks like in motion in the playful trailer:
If you’re looking for a challenge, Kubikon 3D will not disappoint. The quest for better scores and rankings turns a relaxing game into an adrenaline-pumping race against time, where every move and every second counts. The game comes with 50 levels to start with, but the author himself promises more content in the future.
For creative players, there is a level editor that allows you to create your own puzzles and share them with others. The game also supports the Steam Workshop, which can become a source of additional interesting content thanks to the community.
The game was first announced during the Steam Next Fest on February 5th of this year, and a free demo has been available ever since. You can check out the colorful world of Kubikon 3D for yourself. In addition to Steam, the game is also available on GOG and the Epic Games Store for less than 10 USD/EUR.
