Command the new faction as the ground-breaking CCG’s gets a full release, after a year in Early Access bringing a slew of new content and feature updates.
Almost one year after becoming available in Early Access, in which the game has received a constant stream of new content and exciting updates, Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge is getting a full release on 3rd October!
On the very same day, we will be celebrating the full release with a whole new faction: the Astra Militarum! Get ready to command the bulk of the Imperium’s massed regiments into battle and explore their new mechanics. The countless billions of soldiers of the Astra Militarum are garrisoned all across the galaxy, prepared to lay siege to the enemies of the Imperium with an ironclad parade of tanks and ranks of assembled infantry.
Together with the new faction, the full release also brings a slew of quality-of-life improvements into the game, such as the ability to sort your decks in your collection, as well as the option to play Practice games against your own decks. This last new feature is perfect for deck builders, allowing them to practice specific matchups and refine their deck for the ranked ladder!
This update is just the latest one in a huge list of content and feature updates that have joined the game since it became available in Early Access. Since last year, the game has introduced 3 new collectable factions (T’au Empire, Adepta Sororitas and Genestealer Cults), as well as new cards and warlords for the previously available factions in the form of Reinforcement Drops. Iconic heroes such as Demetrian Titus now command their forces into battle in the fully renewed ranked system, and even more new content is unlocked regularly via collaborative Raid events.
Players can now band together in Alliances and work with each other to reach new heights in the alliance ranking and complete collaborative objectives with their battle brothers and sisters. And these are just the novelties from the first year of Warpforge. There is so much yet to come! There are new factions and features in the works, but for now, join us in celebrating the first year of many on the battlefields of Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge!
Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge is available to play for free on Android, iOS, and Steam.
